After years of helping clients who struggle with anxiety and stress related disorders, Jeannie Herman, NCC, LPC, has designed a program that combines the most effective treatments and compiles them into an easy to use and cost effective, program. Jeannie has found that many people have not been getting the help they need because they do not have the time to make it to regular therapy appointments, they cannot afford therapy, or their anxiety is preventing them from feeling comfortable to meet with a therapist. This program makes getting relief accessible to almost everyone.
Each week you will receive a new mindfulness audio meditation, a weekly journal template (based on cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness), an exercise journal, a new "tips and skills" handout with powerfully useful information to move through anxiety and stress, and a video of Jeannie Herman, NCC, LPC explaining how to use this information and how it can change your life.
Jeannie has studied health and wellness, the holistic way, for more than twenty years; focusing on the effects of emotional patterns and beliefs on the human energy system and body. Jeannie's practice is grounded in traditional counseling practices including cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness, combined with a variety of healing modalities, including Reiki, applied kinesiology, chi-gong, flower essence therapy, shamanic journeying, and aromatherapy.
Jeannie has a Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling, is a Nationally Certified Counselor, and a Licensed Professional Counselor. She has taught as an adjunct professor in the Psychology Department at Southern Oregon University.
"I have helped many clients who struggle with anxiety, panic attacks, trauma, low self-esteem, and other challenges. My focus is on validating your emotional experience, allowing you to be seen and heard with understanding and compassion, connecting you with your body, and encouraging authentic expression. I work from the premise that each individual has within them the ability to be whole and thrive. As children and throughout life we are reinforced for certain behaviors that are not in our true nature and we let go of some of our inherent gifts because they are not reinforced. When we are unable to express our true nature, our light, and our talents we lose our way and become imbalanced. My job is to reconnect you with your true self so you can be the joyful and healthy person you were born to be."
